HH's Parkinson's Exercise Program (PEP)


This Class is a joint effort between Huntington Hospital Movement Disorders Program and Rehabilitation Therapy Services. It has been specially designed for people with Parkinsons Disease and other movement disorders. It will be lead by a specialist in exercise instruction and supervised by a physical therapist. The goal of this class is to help the participant improve mobility, balance and strength.

The class will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday of every week and it will last 60 minutes. During the class, the instructor will incorporate light weights with other strength and coordination-training tools.

Each client must register prior to the class by mail. The cost of class is $25.00 per month. A prescription by your physician is required. For more information contact Sheryl Rudie at 310-397-3455. Enrollment is limited.
